I agree, that diagnosis To replace the transfer case with a used one for $2300 was a shot in the dark. I bit the bullet and went to the land rover dealer, they charged me $250 to diagnose the problem, the TCCM inop transfer warn on IPC trace found missing signal from TCCM transfer case control...
Transmission range change not available And special programs not available
I brought my 2008LR3 to the shop and they told me but I needed to replace the transfer case. Cost of replacement is $2300 could anyone with those code experiences please help me out
I have replaced the front air structs and valve block, the rear valve block, the compressor and I pulled the leveling fuses and the suspension still bottoms on all 4 wheels.
Could the center compressor reservoir valve block be the problem?
Where could it still be leaking?

Hi guys I have A dilemma, I have a 2008 LR3 with 116K I am either going to have to change the air struts and a valve block which you know is very expensive or the other option is to go with the fixed springs, either way is Expensive
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Ok thanks for your help, I can hear air leaking out of the front valve, I replaced the rear valve. However my LR3 still will be down on all 4 air springs after about 8 hours.

After cleaning the MAF sensor and driving over 100 miles the PO 171 & 174 faults were cleared and the LR passed the smog test
One hell of a lot cheaper than what the LR shop wanted $1000.00 +/- and they still couldn’t guarantee the smog test
Many thanks for your advice and help
Cleaned the MAF sensor and put over 50 miles on and so far no engine light
I will put on more miles tomorrow and scan for faults
I will get back with you with the results
I need to clear these codes in order to pass a nevada smog test
PO171 system too lean bank 1
PO174 system too lean bank 2
The local rover shop is telling me the purge valve could be the problem?
Any ideas on what might be causing the emission codes?
Thanks
Hi guys the local LR shop informed me that the purge valve is either sticking or needs replacing. The quoted me $750 parts plus labor
They also told me that the valve has something to do with the air/ fuel mixture. I need a smog test in order to register my 2008 Land Rover LR3
I guess the bad...
