    Hard suspension 2018 Discovery Diesel

I know this topic is suspenion focused but don't forget the wheels and tires along with proper air pressures at your altitude. I just returned from a trip up north and had to check the air pressures multiple times to maintain that smooth ride I'm used to.

2015 Range Rover HSE V6 supercharged, minor usage of antifreeze, small leak found on passenger side rear of engine

Absolutely get the work done as Portlandlife has suggested. It's much less expensive in the long run than an engine and much less inconvenient as well.

Follow up on detachable tow hitch receiver

Like Holzhacker, at 77 I've found the hitch is a heavy bugger to deal with. Keeping the mechanism clean as had been recommended is the solution.

    Quick Compressor Replacement Question

Learning from a group of educated friends and having worked on my own Newell motorhome which has a large pneumatic system the consensus is to avoid teflon tape when working on the pneumatics because it can fracture off pieces of tape and clog valves. Loctite makes a liquid pneumatic/hydraulic...

    Intermittent rear hatch issues

YouTube also has a couple very good videos on the issue. I noticed my original actuator sounded funny so I ordered a manual release and a new actuator and installed both at the same time. The actuator sound is definitely different and faster so I havent needed to use the manual but it's there...

Prolonged engine choke operation when starting from cold

    2011 LR4 New Owner Questions

Our '13 had 56K on it when we got it and the lower control arms were in need of replacement. We also were losing a little coolant by and by and so had the waterpump, and crossover tubes, front and rear replaced fortunately before the "big catastrophe" everyone on this forum talks about...

When is it time to say goodbye?

Owning the Land Rover is one of those emotional decisions on which the human brain makes about 85% of it's decisions. Often illogical, erronous, and even incorrect it's those decisions that create happiness. And I must say the LR makes me happier than I've been with a vehicle for years. What...

    Best Extended Warranties $

Good luck finding a company. I looked into two companies, Olive and another I don't remember, and neither would consider an extended warranty for the LR4. I'll be interested to learn if one is available. Come to think of it, I didn't check with my local dealer. Here's a place to start: 12...

LR4 2016 engine sound odd or normal?

Assume that the sound varies with a change in RPMs? Have you been able to isolate it to any place in particular within the engine bay. An engine stethoscope may help if you've not been able to localize it. Engine Stethoscope

Engine revs high upon start up

Revisiting this old topic in an effort to find out "why". My guess is that high idle on start is an electronic issue related to prevent stalling. But it can't be good for a motor to be subjected to what sounds like stress on startup. I wonder if that setting can be adjusted using the GAP II?

    2013 LR4

Had a friend with a Ercoupe. He loved it. Great little aircraft. Became familiar with AMUs when we owned a Newell Coach. Similare economics to the Beach Baron we had previously. But being a doctor I don't fly. I've got a son who cut his teeth in the Baron and now flies G4s for Jet Edge.
