Congrats! I did the same last year as well. (from an ML to the LR3) Loved the ML but love this vehicle even more. Sure it has its quirks but you'll enjoy it nonetheless. Good Luck!- discothree

A few things
x I'm pretty sure it's not the o/s warning, it chimes at anytime. It snowed heavily last Friday here and it seemed like the PDC was going off due to the snow. No one was around me a few times yet the PDC was sensing something. I'll play with the keys sometime this week and i'll let you...- discothree

A few things
Had the same problem with our rear hatch. Brought it back to get it adjusted and given the same explanation about the "pressurization" of the vehicle. No big deal really, just a hassle having to open and close(or slam) it twice. We get that occasional chime for no reason as well. I thought it...- discothree

Does Dealer Inst. Rear Seat 9" Inch DVD screen interfere with REARVIEW?
I should have clarified... I meant to say "factory installed". I know that it is not made by LR but by Rosen(they did offer a Sony made one in 2005, in Canada they did anyway...). I haven't talked to the dealership or looked at the website since my delivery so I thought it(the dual screen)...- discothree

Is this from the factory or an aftermarket LR/Rosen offering? I would be interested in something like this. I was looking at getting the Clarion 10.2" for the center. But they would have to cut some of the trim on the monitor so it would be flush with the heater control module and also so it...- discothree

Side Steps / Running Boards & other accessories
I paid in Canadian dollars so $170US is like $5680 CDN or something like that... ;-) I got them to put in on before I took delivery of it. I think I paid $1700 CDN or so(they charged me 1 hr labour to do it)... I can look it up when I get home, but I think it was around there: The side steps...- discothree

I had the side steps and the side moldings installed when i picked up my LR3. The side steps are useful if you don't plan on lowering the vehicle to access height all the time. Also is you have little ones like I do, it is very useful to them. Easier for them to get in and out of the vehicle...- discothree

Try checking out Top Gears other reviews/videos. Even though Jeremy Clarkson comes off as a bit of an a$$ most times, their clips are pretty entertaining. The one where they're trying to get a Zonda out of a parking garage in Paris is hillarious.- discothree

Wheel Lock nuts? Factory Repair CD? B/up camera, DVD & Wiring
I am also in the market for a DVD system. I was going to go with a 10"O/H Clarion unit. Are you putting the dvd monitors on the headrests or are they mounted above? The rear backup camera feeding the nav screen would be great too! good luck- discothree

I thought so too, but they changed the options for 2006. They told me(at delivery) they made the adaptive headlights an option and added the Bluetooth and front park distance control as standard.
