Hello,

Long story short.. I have just found out that my '02 Land Rover Freelander is in need of its timing belts to be replaced. Little did I know this ******** service costs more than $4,000! Are you kidding me!!! The timing belts havent gone out yet, so before they do I am selling it all! The engine, the tranny, the seats..WHATEVER you want to buy! I am in Colorado but can ship parts if need be. Please let me know if you are interested!

Do you still have engine? Would obviously like to be sure it just needs timing belt and is not toast (not that you would know, not implying anything except concern). Would it be possible to have my mechanic contact your mechanic?
Thank you very much for your reply. - Bill

Hey

Yes we can certainly get our mechanics in touch. I understand your concern, I can tell you that the car/eninge is still in running, operating condition. After learning of the cost of the timing service I stored the Rover, and have not driven it since. The belts never broke, I simply took it in for its 72,000 mile service. If you are still interested i would love to talk with you more about our rovers. Please email me directly at [email protected] and from their we can exchange information. Thanks for your reply. Taylor
