130 Trophy or Trek?

Been a long journey. I started out looking for a 110, either new or barely used. Eventually I decided I didn’t like the smaller cargo area, coming from my LR4. The 130 always seemed a little disproportionate and ridiculously long to me but I’d prefer more function than worrying about form. As an aside, as long as it looks, did you know it’s only 2 inches longer than a Ford Explorer?!

Anyway, now I’ve come across the Trophy and Trek editions. I don’t need a third row, so they are pretty perfect for me. Is there any reason to choose one over the other? Trek seems to have a few more crazy extras, and looks a little more end of days-ish, but might be a little over the top as a daily driver.
Also, are there any major differences between 2023s and 2025s in terms of working out electical gremlins or anything else? Honestly, I could use help choosing, lol.

You can get a 130 with the third row delete. It has a nice flat floor and a massive storage area under the cargo area.
The Trek models were actually used in the Defender Trek competition. Ten days of serious off roading.
Trophy models were modified by JLR in New Jersey.
'23 and '25 differences are minor. Mostly software improvements and bigger infotainment screen.

Thanks for the reply. I decided on the Trek and am picking up Saturday. Really tough to beat someone else losing $50,000 in the first 12000 miles! Completely crazy, wonder why 130s drop so fast whereas used 110s don't budge much?
After watching the Trek competition videos, it looked like it wasn't even very focused at all on challenging driving, more little challenges like pumping up tires, winching logs, not hitting gates etc.

Anyone that says the Defender is not a capable off roader, has NO clue. The Defender is a beast.

There were ten challenges. Only one challenge was really extreme off roading. Lots of steep, rocky hill climbs. Some were over 30 degrees! The Defender pulled right on up. Ours was a 4cylinder too.
