Okay i have a 2001 Discovery II that I wanted to get rid of but i have decided to get it all fixed up... I have the following error codes with the Check Engine Light...

P0174
P0171
P0004
P1100

I have sprayed the heck out of the MAF with Electrical cleaner already and it went away for a day but now it is back with those codes...

I also have the 3 lights coming on after driving for over 20 minutes or so and then of course they go away, i haven't been able to get the OBD scanner on it while those lights were on so i don't have the codes but i think it is pretty common and wanted to get your advice... Thank you ahead of time for any assistance...

Which three lights are coming on? Depending on the mileage of your disco and if the air box is not sealed correctly, it could be the air box or the MAF sensor.

MAF sensor could be dirty or bad... the three amigos is normally a small part on the bottom of the ABS modulator less than $100.00 and about an hour or so to change.

3 amigos fix

is there a link to this simple fix you are talking about?

Could it be the wheel sensors everyone is talking about also?

Thank you!

I recently fixed this issue on a friends D2. Here is the link to the posting on here, remember it is almost a 2 man job, just not enough room for 2 people to work. I recommend using something to hold up the ABS modulator (just not to high or you will bend the lines.
