My car has a failed rear wiper motor.I removed it and tested the electrical motor which is working just fine.
A lot of dust has entered the gearing and as a result the large plastic gear has worn teeth to the point where there is no drive.
There is no seal of any sort such as a gasket and I suspect this will have happened (or be happening) to other cars.
I suggest that you seal the gear housing before you get such a failure.
Can ayone tell me if I can get a replacement gear and if not where can I get a replacement assembly at a fair price?
