Hello all,
I am the proud owner of an 05 LR3 SE and am slowly getting down my list of fixes and upgrades. I am currently stuck on installing an AUX cord. The standard AUX in behind the center console's port broke and was only intermittently playing music. In an attempt to bypass this I wired a cable in directly behind the head unit per this video:
The issue is that no audio comes out of the speakers when I attach my Nexus 6. My first fix was to install an inline head phone amp, which at full volume was barely audible. I have now gotten a larger (20db gain) amp that isn't much better.
My questions to the group is: is there a factory stereo that I can swap in that will have Bluetooth audio or something similar? I'm sure I can't be the only one completely fed up with the "music" on FM...
