Nothing changes other than when you go into my music and select your phone for Bluetooth music, it brings up CarPlay

Interesting how they integrated it. I was on their site and it looked like there is an adapter to install with external composite connections and that is all. It sounds like the UI and screen hardware is factory stock except for there is a new trigger mapped for the audio phone button and from that invocation CarPlay runs on the screen? It sounds like they have a chipset in the adapter that runs or maybe they are using the factory CPU and injecting code to run.

I believe they just used Sinosmart CarPlay from Aliexpress for $250. It's almost same as Naviplus (but better).
I have one – and yes, it work via AUX or Bluetooth. If you press Exit you should see this menu.
