Hello, This is David
I bought a new LR4 in August and took it out on its first little off road experience.
The Continental 4x4 tires did not hold up to well in the Eastern Sierras with the sharp granite rocks.
i was hoping someone had a good recommendation of Tires to replace the Continentals.
I believe the Land Rover Website calls for 255/55 R15 A/T as the factory recommended tire.
I would love some advise on which tire meets the factory specs?
I believe the Continentals are considered All Weather Tires, not All Terrain?
Thank you,
David

David,

Do a quick search for tire threads on here and you will find lots and lots of useful reading material. Your LR4 probably has 255/55R19 Conti's. A good replacement for those might be a set of 255/55R19 Cooper Zeon LTZ's. Those should hold up better for you. Another option would be switching to 18" wheels for more sidewall protection and more all-terrain tire options. Good luck.
