300 tdi speedo, Rev counter and dash lights not working

The instrument cluster has stopped working in my 300tdi disco.
Only thing that works are the indicator lights.
No ignition lights work at all.
No speedo
No rev counter!!

Where do I start.

Tach could be from a bad wire or failing alternator, the speedo not working would be a lack of connection to the ECU, better get it to a dealer who can reistablish the communication between the speedo and the ECU.
