Hi. I was investigating slight roughness of my LR3 4.4 v8 at idle and up to 1300 RPM. I hooked up a scanner and started a live view datalog. And I found a strange issue. I see two parameters there: Intake variable camshaft timing - bank 1 & Intake variable camshaft timing - bank 2 differ by 3 degrees (43 and 46 degrees). I can observe this at idle and the same 3 degree difference stays while revving the engine. Is this normal?

Already did that. But how throttle body relies to the intake camshaft position?

It is all computer controlled, rough idle is a well known issue. It is most likely due to the fact they vent the PCV in front of the throttle body that they get gummy and rough idle.

Yes I understand, but as I mentioned I cleaned that, and rough running goes up to 1300 RPM, which is not idle.

Here are several screenshots, to give an idea what I mean.
Intake cams at idle:

Intake cams at 1000 RPM:

Also I noticed that even injectors have always shorter pulses (5% shorter) than odd ones:

Any thoughts?
