4.6 idle problems

ive just noticed that when i come to a stop the idle drops to about 250rpm and slowly climbs up a little, a couple of times now it stalled , however i have noticed that if i have the car on idle and i rest my foot on the accelerater pedal very lightly the idle drops , as i push harder it climbs but there seems to be a drop before it climbs!
id think the throttle potentiometer would be suspected ?
anyone got any other ideas ?

IAC or stepper motor sounds like the issue... or as you stated the throttle potentiometer... you can try to clean it or buy a new one.

adjusted the stepper

sems to be better! ill let ya know
on top of inlet there is a small cap, drilled through it and pulled it out to reveal a hex bolt which i adjusted, now it idles ok
