I took my 2001 Discovery SE7 in for service as my ABS/TC/? light series came on. I was due for 120,000 mile services, so I knew the bill would be significant. It appears during their examination of the car, they identified a need to replace the seals and the gasket because the intake manifold and throttle body heater were leaking coolant. That along with the recommended replacing the of the coolant hoses, replacing the brake pads and rotors, replacing a lamp assembly and my horn, comes to $6000. Is it worth it?? Is this the begining of a series of problems or a one time occurence?
I love my car, but if I can begin to expect this level of problems, I may decided to trade it in.
Any thoughts ... anyone.
