95 discovery electrical issues

ok... here is another problem! All of the sudden my cd changer is not being detected (display shows am-fm, but not CD) and none of my alarm remotes work!! I can arm the alarm by turning the drivers side lock. I did check the ground terminal behind the battery. Any ideas??? Thanks

Could be the battery in the remote, but I would also try locking and unlocking the drivers door with the key 5 times and see if this helps the remote issues.

The CD, that could either be a blown fuse, or a short in the wiring.... betting on a fuse.

come to think of it, doesn't the same fuse work for the CD as the alarm?
