I removed the cupholder to replace the clock bulb, (thanks for that help), AND the spring on the cup holder fell off. Advise on how it fits back on the cupholder please!!!!!!! thanks

Mine did the same thing almost 3 years ago.... I just shoved it in and bought the cup holders for the D2... they work better anyways.
when i bought my disco, i pulled on the cupholder and the whole thing came right out of the dash. It turns out that the gear mechanism is broken and/or stripped on one side. drat, I finally get a vehicle with cupholders and I can't use them!
