97 Discovery xd questions please help

Hello,
can anyone tell me if a discovery xd is a decent land rover. I can get one really cheap at 1800 with 163k on it, however I dont realy know much about land rovers especially this model. can anyone help me

The XD is not really any different from any other D1, but at 163k it will depend on how it was taken care of and how well it runs. $1800 may be too much money if they haven't taken good care of it, or it could be a steel for a vehicle that has been well maintained.

It is like any other Disco, they will all have issues, it is a matter of which ones to fix
