99 disco help

hey guys new here, i did a search to see if i could find the answer to my question but no luck.. I have had my disco for about 3 months now and have tested the tracrtion on this bad boy, but not impressed with it. Im sure their is something wrong with mine because all i get is wheel spin. i dont have any lights on saying anything is not checking in right with the computer. last time it snowed i took it out and if i hit the brakes the front would lock up fast with normal pressure. tried to go up a hill that had some wheel flex but other then that dry dirt. tires with no tracktion spun. i have did the abs mod - http://www.landroverclubvi.com/abs-mod.html - thinking that might have something to do with it, but no change... ps also if i try to turn thte downhill decent on i hear three chimes and thats it no lights and no change with the disco...

First you sound like you have a D2, not sure what ABS mod you did, but if you disabled the ABS, then you will get wheel spin since the ABS is your traction control. I would recommend adding the CDL lock to yours not read hard nor very expensive if you do it as an add on and not a full kit.

But wheels locking up in the snow sounds like ABS issues.
