I need a place to vent.

My plastic horn button on my steering wheel broke one of the four little plastic legs that it sits in place with. Easy enough. Guess how much that parts costs...you guessed it - $108.00. I told the dude I thought he was kidding and left. I saw a couple service folks stadning around, so I asked them if they knew of any resources to come by a piece of plastic with a trumpet stamped on it for under $108.00. Those assholes laughed at me. One dude said, "No one asks for a $29 oil change for a Ferrari." Sorry to say, LR's are nice, but it's no Ferrari. I felt like asking him which vehicle is his out in the parking lot, cause I bet you he doesn't drive a LR, or else he might feel my pain slightly.

GOSH, FLIPPIN IDIOT!

I've had my Disco II for 11 months now...and just yesterday I found out, by default (and the price of a piece of plastic), I am some sort of elitest.

I'll show them.

$179.00 to read the SES light code? What's that crap? Autozone only picks it up as an error. So either their OBD II is broken or something else is wrong with my LR. It kinda likes to sputter a little, but nothing gross.

Has anyone here ripped off their front bumper and replaced it with something cool or unique. I was thinking about a nice piece of dark wood of some kind. Thought it might look kinda nice. Oh well.

Thanks for the opportunity to vent. I kinda want to backhand someone real bad.
