A Vintage RR year?

I'm looking at a 2003 RR HSE with 17,000 miles on it for my wife. Is 2003 a good year? Or were there production problems that will make this a mistake? I was at the dealer a month ago to get the 37,500 check-up on my Disco and there was a unhappy customer that's had to bring his 2005 RR back several times for an electrical problem. Maybe I need to find a 2003 with 40K miles and figure most of the headaches have been endured by the previous owner and fixed by the dealer.

First of all, I avoid the dealers like the plague. Not only do they rip you off for service and parts, but they give your vehicle to the apprentice to work on. Hence the guy bringing back his 05 with constant electrical problems.
