Abs problems

The issue that i am having is that after driving for a while the abs kicks in and starts to slow vehicle down, and the transmission downshiftss.... pretty much its donig what its suppossed to do.... but i cant figure out what is causing this.... as of now i took both fuses out.. one under the hood and one in the vehicle.. but need for it to work properly.. help and ideas.

If you removed the abs fuse under the hood, the only one you needed to remove. If you still feel the abs working you need to have you brakes checked, because it should just stop.

Correct, even with the fuse removed the light will be on, but the ABS is disabled... remove the offending light. I drove my D1 like that for 9 years. Not issues other than you stop when brakes are applied, but I never considered that an issue.
