Advice on a 90

Does anyone have any thoughts on a 1985 Land Rover 90, 2.5 petrol engine. Looking for input good and bad, hoping for good!

Wish I could help, but haven't had much chance to work on or even see an 85 model Rover anything... the only issue is the 2.5 petrol is a small engine.

the good news about the 2.5 petrol engine is that you can take it out and put the 3.5 rover v8 into the hole it leaves. but you can also drop the 2.5 turbo diesel from the 90 series into your 85. the petrol engine you have at the moment would be bad on fuel consumption about 12 to 20 miles to the imperial gallon eg 160 fl/ozs this can be improved a small bit approx 5mpg by fitting a fairey over drive depending what model your vehicle is hope some of this helps.

wondering what an 1985 Rover 90 is worth, good condition, 2.5 petrol engine, rough estimate,Anyone?

i not able to tell you how much it is worth in the states, on the irish market it would fetch around 2000 euro. in uk market it would fetch 850-1300 sterling depending on condition. if your looking to sell it why dont you put it in the classifieds on this site??? you could also keep the vehicle and put a V8 into it
