All,

Yesterday I got an amber suspension fault. Normal Height only. Everything else is normal but the compressor basically won't do anything. Fault can be cleared, compressor will function but eventually the fault will return.

IIDTool says it's a communication error between the EAS and the transmission and something about the compressor taking too long to fill the reservoir...although that is not my observation. The fault occurs even when the compressor isn't doing anything.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Houm_WA,

I don't recall if you have changed out your compressor or what year model you have.
FWIW, I have a similar problem, had the diagnostics done, and it was determined that the compressor is faulty. According to my tech, the OEM (at that time) compressors eventually fail, and are not capable of getting the job done. I don't remember the name of the new OEM-standard compressor. I believe there are some threads related to a replacement...
