Passenger side (under carriage) you get a banging noise. At least it seems like under the truck...but then hits up on door panels. Can't find location of banging noise. Any suggestions.

thanks for ur silly reply. Banging noise is intermittent, sounds like its coming from inside the rear quater panel. It does not happen only when making a turn.

It's hard to guess given the randomness and without hearing it in person. The tailgate strut can sound sort of like a 'bang' (but more like a knock) and usually only when you go over bumps. Can you get under the truck and shake various parts with your hand and reproduce? There's the fuel filler line, the big metal harmonic weights that hang on both sides of the spare...
It's really hard to diagnose without being there, maybe put someone in the back and see if they can help pinpoint it when it occurs?

quickdraw, you can't blame slwroller for his silly response...your post was so random and lacking information that there is no way to answer your question.

This could be many things. You need to provide more information on the circumstances in which you experience this noise as info about your LR3. 2005? 2007? How many miles? Where do you operate it? FL? AK? Do you off-road it? Do you maintain it regularly?

as a shot in the dark. Make sure your spare is cranked up all the way tight and isn't swinging around back there.

I have same issue. Taking in to dealer next week, but their initial thought is rear sway bar, which is even more common than control arms.
