Hello:

I have a 95 Disco. I replaced the rotors and break pads. I have bled the lines 7 times. I still hear and feel a vibration and humming sound coming from the break pedal and I believe the master cylinder. The sound still continues depending on the amount of driving I do.

Can anyone provide a solution to this problem?

Many Thanks, Keith

what exactly is coming from the brake pedal when you step on it..

is it a wavey motion (like warped rotors) or a choppy motion like the ABS system is running full time?

also how did you bleed out hte system? ABS systems can be a little bit tricky when bleeding them, they are not necissarily as easy as a nonABS brake system..

some ABS systems require a bleed out system that uses a vacuum instead of the old open, push, close, let up method (the pain!), others require a top down pressure method for bleeding out the brakes..

i've yet to bleed out an ABS system but those are just some tidbits i learned when i was reading about the ABS systems..

Kind of steep maybe, but I love mine.... I would do another brake bleed without it.

I even loaned it to a friend (mechanic), and I almost had to hurt him to get it back.
