Hello I have a 1997 Discovery that is in need of front brake pads. I am familiar with the installation of brake pads as I have done them on my vw before. I was wondering if there is anything out of the norm that I should be aware of before attempting to do this myself.

abs sensors

I beleive that the abs sensors are in the pads so you have to be careful not to damage them $250.00 each from dealer. Just mic out the discs to make sure that they don't need to be replaced to and check the surface for any heat warp. I also think on the newer models D2 you have to bleed the brakes differently. At work right now. I will find out more later when I get home and repost. Good luck.
