Mine has done this on occasion but I don't worry about it. This is not a new engine design. Its a new to LR but old to JAG engine.
Also, the engine will rev higher with accessories on... climate control at full blast, rear defrost and windscreen heat, butt warmers, etc... All that stuff on makes mine idle 1200+ish. which is normal and documented somewhere in the book.
