One of the great things about Colorado is that you don't always need to wait for the summer to off-road.

It is the basin below Moab Hill / Illinois Gulch in Douglas County. I've had a lot of success going up there in the winter due to the south facing trail. Never actually done Moab Hill, but maybe this year (easy side).
