This is an advertisement video for ARB but does show the differences to some degree.
Unfortunately, ARB doesn't make anything for the current gen LR4.

One obvious take-away from all of this- there is a significant difference in the implementation of traction control, both across manufacturers and iterations per manufacturer.

Hard to imagine implementing something like this with all the "computer wizardry" in modern vehicles with any type of traction control system.

I just realized there are two different "needs" for the off road community:
1) Fun
2) Get where you need to go without stress

I'd bet most of us prefer the most fun method, the one requiring learned skill and technique to overcome an obstacle.

That said, getting down an untracked, snow-covered maintenance road without stressing over it is nice too. And my wife getting to work in a blizzard without incident has obvious merit.
