My Compo's were made in early 2018 & as I said in an earlier post I've had no problems at all with delam.
My understanding is that the dodgy batch of wheels were produced in 2017. Compomotive do not have these wheels in constant production. They program a run of X number of units depending on demand. So
each batch can potentially vary fractionally, especially with the coating.
35 psi in the rears is quite high off road even with a serious load. My LR4 is in excess of 3.25 tons & I run
28-30psi in very rough conditions - down to 24-25psi in very rocky conditions. I have BFG KO2's 265/60X18" & I won't go quite as low as some guys with 265/65's. I'm careful with wheel placement &
have no scratches or dings on my wheels.
Several tire fitters here have said that most damage to rims occurs during tire removal. Always stand & watch as the fitter does his job after advising them of your concerns. If they won't allow you to watch -
buy your tires elsewhere!
