Coolant temp gauge

Anyone have a situation where the bar seems stuck right below the C mark?
Drove the SO's 2015 HSE Lux yesterday and noticed it wasn't moving at all. Gonna check with IID and the IR gun for possible causes but thought I'd ask.

Yeah, I know it's under warranty. Would rather avoid the dealership if possible.

Alright, thanks to Patrick at GAP, my IID tool now reads engine coolant temps. There are two sensors and ECT2 appears to be dead. Befroe I break down and buy TOPIX can anyone say where this is located on the SCV6.

Would there be a DIY anywhere on ECT sensor change?

A Vehicle Reset with IID brought the coolent temp gauge back to life. I'm suspecting a weak battery (one year in service)!
