This is a 2000 LR 4,0 we have a trouble message (No code) radiator outlet temperature thermistor fault. this car does not have a switch at the base of the radiator only the double contact switch on the manifold, any ideas?

If you are not getting a code, how do you know there is a fault? I don't remember a message center on the D2... maybe I am wrong.

Thermistor poblem

Many times the scanner will give a message rather than a code, as in this case,the message tells you what the problem is, ie, a problem at the radiator outlet tempperature thermistor. Bill:cool:

This is new to me, I have never seen a code reader not provide a code... I do know there is a temp sensor, but unless the engine is not running correctly, or the temp gauge is showing off, then it should be fine.
