My fiancee picked up a "last o the lot" 2004 Disco's and we really love it except for the cruise. Is it normally so jerky? It feels like a 16 year old is driving thinking you have to pump the pedal to make the car go.

If it is that bad, I would have the Service dept look at it... the cruise on my '97 works great... and it did on the '04 that I test drove as well

Alot of times the vehicle is delivered to the dealer with the cable actuator for the cruise terribly out of adjustment. Have them check it out, it's normal for the speed to fluctuate a little, but not that much.
