I own a 2010 LR4 HSE w/ 109,000 miles. I was driving not too long ago and my "charging fault" light came on... I drove further and then the dash started going through a bunch of faults - suspensions fault, differential fault and maybe more as it happened fast... then the entire dash shut down but the car was running decent.- sort of felt like it was driving in some sort of safe mode - actually kind of felt like the snow mode on the 4wd. Then it all came back on and i haven't had the problem the last dozen or so times i drove it. Feels almost like the computer flaked out and restarted. I did just recently have a lot of work done on it but none was electrical. (new radiator, water pump, crossover, timing cover gasket, & new fuel injectors.) anyone have this issue before??
for those that ask - all that work was done for $7000 by reputable shop who does LandRovers (really impressed with their work). I am so disappointed in owning this vehicle. I restore old Jeeps so know a little about engines, electrical, etc.. but the LR4 is like a space shuttle to me when i open the hood. no idea what's what
