Anyone know why LR have changed the catch straps on the front doors and tailgate? When I bought my new series Defender they worked - i.e. stopped the door shutting - but wore out. The rear passenger doors are fine. Took it to be fixed and although they've replaced them, the doors now have no resistance to closing at all - worse than before. Looked at a new vehicle with the dealer and it's the same. WHat have they done? It's a safety hazard as these doors are heavy!

Thanks

They probably lubed the hinges... On the Disco when the hinges are dirty, it can be hard to close, when lubed, they close very fast.
