Disco 3 spied in Mich (diesel non the less)

Hey, anyone caught a diesel engine, euro badged LR3 around Mich? I saw it on I-96 a few weeks back. Looks to be a euro spec right drive with manufacture plates and mess of wires and computers running inside.
Could Land Rover be thinking of bring a diesel to the States? That would be cause to look at a new one!

Was it Red? I saw one in massachusetts, last week. Had all sorts of gagets inside and outside of the LR3.

Yes, Land Rover is testing the diesel here in the states (at least that is what rumors I have heard). I know they have been talking about it for years, but emissions have kept them out of the game. Remember the USA is the only country that I know of that as the strict emissions that we do.
