Is it possible to mount Disco II headlights on a Disco I. I like the dark fade on the outsides of the lights, also are the early Disco II headlights plastic?

Early Disco 2 headlight assy is plastic.
If you mean a swap from a < 03 D2, then it is just a matter of buying and installing about $100.
If you mean >03 then you will find that it will run your around $1000+, but I have read that it can be done.
