Does anyone make roof rail tie-down rings?

I have a 2005 LR3 with factory crossbars, but I see no way to attach ropes or tie-downs securely to either the roof rails or the crossbars since neither have any holes or rings on them. Does anyone know of any tie-downs made to attach to the roof rails (without having to buy a new rack itself)

Yakima has a pedestal system that clamps to the roof rails. Should get you closer to what you're looking for.
