New to this site!
I own a 1998 RR 4.6 HSE which I purchased second hand of course. I am retired but I' am quickly finding out some of the "electrical problems" encountered with this type of vehicle.
1. The word "alarm fault" has just begun to appear each time I insert the key? I took it to the dealership for a diagnostic check and after $150 I still have the same problem?
2. At the same time almost, all switches on the centre console for the electric windows, sunroof, rear view mirrors etc. stopped working. The dealership suggest I purchase a new replacement module for the centre console at a cost of $800?
All were working when I purchased the vehicle??
Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.
