I've noticed a couple of issues with my 2005 LR3 HSE in regards to the electrical system. I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing these or know of a possible reason/fix.
First Scenario: I walk up to the car remotely unlock it, open a door or the back hatch, close it, remotely lock the car and walk away. What I've noticed is that if I do not put the key in the ignition, the Nav Screen and the (green) radio screen stays on - draining battery power. The Nav Screen has the Land Rover logo on it and the radio screen just has the time. It seems that this stays on for at least 30-45minutes (I didn’t want it to drain the power anymore, so I started the car).
Second Scenario: I put the parking brake on, the red light on the dash turns on to let me know the brake is engaged, I step out, remotely lock the car and walk away. Apparently, the red parking brake light stays on, again - draining battery power. It seems that this stays on for at least 30-45minutes (I didn’t want it to drain the power anymore, so I started the car).
Anyone have any ideas/fixes?
Thanks.
