Engine noise

I have an 09 LR3 with 30k miles. I have a bearing-like noise coming from the engine when first started on cold mornings (below 30 degrees F). I made an .mp3 file of the engine starting (the noise is prevalent after 40 seconds, especially at the 1 min 25 second spot). After the engine runs for about 3-4 minutes, the noise disappears. There is no noise when the temperature is above 35 degrees F.

The dealer has already replaced both belts.

Is this something to be concerned about?

Kinda sounds like bearings in an idler pully. Could also be the alternator bearings but these are much less likely...Best way to confirm is to remove the belts when cold and spin them by hand while listening for any noise...

If the dealer replaced your both primary and secondary belts, they should have also change a idler pully as well. Ask them about it . There is a TSB on idler pully as well.If you talking about a this high pitch noise , this also could be a alternator bearings as i changed the pully and still have the same noise for a while ,especially when I turn front windshield heating button on.
