ERG Valve location
Can anyone show me where the EGR valve is located on a 1996 Land Rover Discovery? I have no idea what it looks like or where it is. PLease help. Thx
If you find one on your engine, please let me know, because I’ve never seen one on a Disco. I think either your mechanic has the wrong scan tool or they are playing a joke on you.
My advice would be to get someone else who has the proper scan tools and equipment to diagnose your rover, they are not OBD 2 compliant. The Rovers and Jaguars require special test equipment, and without them, you get bad codes.
Do you have the trouble code ? I might be able to tell you what it means if you have it.
