first test drive

Hi, all I am new to the range rover family. I am in the market for a used land rover discovery. I test drove a 2003 model but it did not have anthing in the 3rd row seat area. The bins were empty and it was used as storage. However I thought the discovery came with the foldable 3rd row seats. Please help.

third row seats are an option. look for a 7 in the model designation such as HSE7 for one with the jump seats.

So if I wanted the 3rd row jump seat I would need to buy a se7 or any model with 7 in it. Is it possible for me to buy the discovery and get the dealer to install the jump seats? The whole reason I am getting a discovery because I need 7 seats. Thanks for replying.

It will be cheaper for you to buy a Disco with the jump seat pre installed. In the used market you may only pay a hair more for the SE7 vice just the SE, but to add them after purchase could cost you any where from $500 to $2000 depending on if you buy new or used parts, who you have install them and if you want it to look right. Also most SE7's come preinstalled with rear air.
