changed u-joints on front drive shaft and noticed that there is something like a bearing between the double cardon joint. can that be replaced? several of the bearing looking thing are missing.

#1 I looked in your profile and I could not determine what year or model your vehicle is. We will need to know this information.

#2 Could you please provide more information on the double cardian part you are referring to. Forgive me as I am having a little difficulty in deciphering the description per your post.

Unless I am mistaken, the only way you have a double cardian joint is if you upgraded the driveshaft.

Yes, that is the centering ball of the double cardon joint. Precision, a u-joint manufacturer, makes a replacement. Precision replacement ball kit # 617 can be found at most good auto parts suppliers that will work on a DII D/C shaft, if that is what is on your Disco.
