Door Pin To Activate Interior Lights

I have 97 Disco and i'm wondering if this is a fuse thing or not:

1. When the truck is turned off and the headlights are on...the warning sound no longer comes when i open my door to warn me that i've left my lights on.
2. when i open my door the interior light does not get turned on.

Could be a bad switch (you know the one that activates the lights and chime) Check to make sure it isn't just stuck, but could be bad.

where do i find that switch?

I would have to walk out and look, but I think it is on the hinge side of the door, there should be a small pressure switch.

found the switch...how do i open it...the scew looks like one i've never seen

sounds like time to purchase a manual - check this one out
CD rom - comes with electrical trouble shooting also- - I just ordered it yestereday

I see from you other post that you figured out how to unscrew it... sorry between my day job and my own business I am pretty busy... If I don't do it/check it right then I tend to forget.
