I just bought a 06 LR3 SE. I had it for around 24 hours before it had to go back to the dealership because of a faulty passenger side suspension issue. I also have a gripe about the dealership because the sold me the vehicle with two illegal tires. Old, slightly used tires I can handle but worn down, about to make me slip off the road tires is just not good enough!

Sorry for the rant but I needed to get it off my chest!

I would like to add that I am ridiculously excited about getting the LR3 back and getting it off road. Does anyone know of a good half and half tire? I need something that is decent on the highway but can also handle going off road at the weekends.

I also want to add that I just traded my 07 Toyota Tundra in for the LR3. The Tundra was great to start with but after 11 months or so the entire inside cabin became a squeaking, creaking nightmare. The engines may be built like tanks but the interior was enough to make get rid of the vehicle with only 30k on the clock and 100k warranty left.

Looking forward to talking with you all.

Thanks Joey, do you have them on your LR? What kind of mileage do you get out of them before a change is called for?

Yes I have them on my 97 Disco, my first set I got around 50k miles IIRC, but that was in WV and lets just say driving on most WV roads is like driving off road daily.

I looked into the pricing and in the grand scheme of things they are not too bad. I will wait and see what the dealership is going to do about the tires on the vehicle just and take it from there. If they put cheap, new tires on I may get them traded quick and get some money off the Revo's!
