95 Disco I
I am new to this Disco Mania *** I love the amount of information and knowledge out there.
I have a code 48 Idle air control valve.
Since I discovered the code after some research my service engine light has come on.
Does this mean I need to replace or clean?
any ideas for the Air control valve

My AC also works sometimes and blows cold but many times does not work at all.
I have no idea why the compressor keeps cutting off and does not come on all the time.
I am not a mechanic and adding Freon is about all I know when it comes to AC.
A great idea for a fix or a good repair shop in the ATL area would be greatly appreciated.

Clean the IAC front of the intake you have 2 small parts with a plug going to each... one is the IAC the other is the TPS (throttle position sensor)

Clean them both... be careful with the screws, the strip easy.

A/C could be a bad switch or low on R134a
