I have a 98 Disco 1. The check engine light has come on and the OBD2 gave code P1138. This is for a rich HO2 sensor downstream of the cat, on the driver's side exhaust. I replaced that sensor and reset the computer, only to have the check engine light come back on with the same code. (P1138) I have heard that the cat its self may be the problem. Does anyone have experience with this? Is there any way to test the cat, or any other issues that should be checked first? Any help here is greatly appreciated.
