nwood, I just purchased Rasta 4x4 front skid plate and rock sliders are next in my shopping list. Could you please let us know how option 1 works out for you? Maybe some pictures later? Thanks. - Brian

Yes, probably tomorrow morning. I shot a few images today during the install.

Here are some images of my new Stage 1 sliders (no stand off tubes). I cheated a bit and used Inland Rovers lift. It was significantly easier this way :)

These Stage 1 are MUCH lighter than the Stage II's that they are replacing. I would estimate they weigh 70lbs or less compared to the 100+ lbs of the Stage II's.

This is also my first production quality set. They are so pretty! They tuck into the wheel wells differently than my original pre-production versions, so I had to do a bit of inner wheel well trimming (per the directions). For me, the passenger side fit easier than the drivers side, where I had a challenge getting the rear two sill bolts to line up. It took some diligence, but in the end, they all worked.

How cool is this? The instructions show my own truck :)

The easy way to hold the body spacers on before you lift them in place.

I'm seriously considering ordering these. Is the driver's side slider shaped to fit over the compressor? It looks like it dips down a little from the frame.

So what do you think about them Nathan now that you have had them on for a bit? These are the ones I am considering.

I love the low profile nature of them, they look awesome. however, I have not beat on them yet. Going out to Red Rock Canyon either this Sunday or next to test them.

I have no doubts about the sliders themselves, it's me that I have doubt's about. I've gotten lazy with the stand off tubes keeping me off the rocks. One part of why I went with these Stage 1's is to focus on my driving more.

 I can think of better ways ...
Speaking of the compressor, you will notice a lot more noise from it, as your suspension changes height. It is necessary to remove the noise damping cover in order to install the sliders.
