The grade of leather in the LR is much nicer than in consumer appliance cars like Honda, GM, Nissan, etc. Euro luxury brands, and even VW use better leather and/or leather that is not painted with zero breatability such as on GM, etc. (Well, not Cadillac, as that is pretty nice leather.) With the shellacking of paint that is used on lesser vehicles, it is less prone to get "dyed" by other items such as jeans. Aniline dyed leather is healthier and more prone.

Frankly, I can't stand cheap leather in cars as it doesn't breath. Awful.

Yes common problem = why I only do black interiors

After having 3 beige leather interiors (VW, Audi, LR), they all do it eventually... no more for me

I have a huge ink stain on My alpaca leather a friend of mine that works with leather recommended the Ink and stain remover from this place. I ordered a bottle to try it out. The stain is about 4" x 4 ". I will post before and after photos to let you know if it worked.
